Youth Club – Pressure

One of our music editors favourites are back with a stunning new single, Pressure.  This summer was dominated by the sound of Southend-on-Sea lads Youth Club – since the release of their second EP Brothers, these boys have been the band on everybody’s lips.  Heading out across the UK on a massive headline tour this Autumn, Youth Club are set the finish an EPIC 2015 with a bang…and Pressure is the perfect soundtrack!

GoldLink  – Spectrum

DMV rapper/singer and future bounce pioneer, GoldLink, has announced his first full-length project, ‘And After That, We Didn’t Talk’. The project is set for release on November 13th via London label Black Butter Records. The 11 track LP which features production from, Demo Taped, Galimatias, Medasin, Tom Misch and longtime collaborator Louie Lastic, will also feature singer/saxophonist Masego and a range of vocals and melodies from new DMV up and comer April George. GoldLink has received an overwhelming amount of early support off of the strength of one mixtape, The God Complex, garnering recognition from the likes of Noisey, Boiler Room, Fader & Pitchfork, and landing the XXL 2015 Freshman cover.


The Night Cafe – Addicted

Lulu will always have a soft spot for scousers having lived in Liverpool for 3 years studying music, and she loves The Night Café.  The quartet of Liverpool lads (Carl, Arran, Josh and Sean) have unveiled their latest track ‘Addicted’ following the widely-received debut ‘Growing Up’, which has garnered over 300k streams to date.  The youngsters have also been touring with The Wombats recently and their reputation is growing impressively day-by-day.

Habitats – Boogie Waltzer

The Hampshire-based tropical indie quartet Habitats have released their next single, ‘Boogie Waltzer’.  The guys are out on tour and they play their biggest headline show to date at the Lexington on the 22nd of this month (a week on Thursday). The band have taken to the road with this single from the upcoming ‘Jungles’ EP, which was recorded in Hudson, NY and will be released in Feb 2016. This first single comes out on Oct 16th.  The track was premiered by Consequence of Sound and they have had previous support from the likes of Artrocker and Impose Magazine.

Social Skills – It’s Invisible

Meet Social Skills, the three-piece collective whose majestic sound will transport listeners into a world of 70’s synths, and kaleidoscopic guitar riffs. Made up of Chopper on keyboard, Moshik on drums, and Scuta on guitar and vocals, Social Skills exude talent, authenticity, and maturation. Hailing from North London, the band came together through a shared love of antiqued studio equipment and vintage synths. Fast-forward to the present day, and with a catalogue of new music to share, the band are releasing their debut EP Socialize!, a 4 track project which proves the band as one to watch in the world of Indie-Electronic sounds.
