Election 2015 @ After Nyne: The Cinnamon Club Hosts Election All-Nighter

Counting down to the new cabinet, spend the most exciting evening of the political calendar with The Cinnamon Club, affectionately known as ‘The Westminster Canteen’, for an all-night offering of modern Indian food and drink including exclusive ‘Ballot Bellinis’.

Predict the election outcome for your chance to win a special prize!

Carry-over from evening to morning on election night, Thursday 7th May, at The Cinnamon Club – located within the shadow of Houses of Parliament in the Old Westminster Library – while you follow every ballot box being opened and each constituency counted on the big screens whilst enjoying a feast of Executive Chef Vivek Singh’s signature style of modern Indian cuisine.

From 6pm until 10.45pm, book in for dinner, stay for the results and leave after the cockerel crows with the election results digested and debated over a hot breakfast, served from 5am onwards.

Election Dinner

Order from the à la carte menu: first past the post choose between appetisers of chargrilled breast of Anjou squab pigeon, spice-crusted Kentish lamb fillet or wild mushroom Galauti. Elect a stunning main of Tandoori wild Spencer Gulf king prawns, smoked saddle of Romney Marsh lamb or pan-seared aubergine steak with a sesame and cashew sauce.

Ballot Bellinis in the Library Bar

After dinner, adjourn to the Library Bar where you can relax like a pack of backbenchers and watch the excitement unfold. Soothing the tension will be bar snacks and well-elected cocktails – served until 3am – five of which will make up the ‘Bellini Ballot’ menu representing different party colours: Labour of Love, Tory Twist, Liberal Libation, Green Scene and UKIP Flip. Cross the floor for a selection of aptly-named bar snacks including Tandoori ‘peer’ Paneer, Opposition Olives, Shuffle spiced Shrimps and Speaker’s Stir-fry Chicken.

Cinnamon Kitchen competition

If the thrill of a new government isn’t enough excitement for one night, diners will also be encouraged to cast their vote speculating which party will emerge victorious for a chance to win two spaces at an interactive Food & Wine Experience masterclass taking place at Cinnamon Kitchen, The Cinnamon Club’s sister restaurant in the City.

Guests can solely book in for dinner, drop by for breakfast, or arrive only to kick back in the bar to follow the live results. Whether you’re staying for one act or sticking with the manifesto through the night, give The Cinnamon Club your vote: this is one election promise that won’t be broken!
