Australian rapper Miles Glyphers unveils new music ahead of the release of his debut mixtape, ‘Twisted Youth’.

‘They Are Free’ features US gospel singer Clark Turpin. “It’s a song about challenging what you know, and escaping the ‘same old things’ of everyday life.” For Miles that’s about escaping the suburbs of Sydney and ties in with the fact he never feels at home.

The track samples the documentary 12 o’clock Boys, which is a cult documentary about biker gangs in the ghettos in the States.

German Electro-Indie Pop songwriter Inner Tongue, ‘Fallen Empire’’s video went out with Noisey last week, and has already been picked up in the Guardian’s New Bands Playlist as well as Record Of The Week, Nothing But Hope and Passion and more.

Whilst on the surface the single is bright and dreamy, it is undercut by a dark and overbearing bass line, it’s effortlessly harmonious, but always flirts with discord. The lyrics also offer a tremendously reflective intensity, that fragile voice delivering them through a meditative pulse of restrained, intelligent beats

MY BABY is a vision, a muse; an undulating landscape interspersed with a stream of smooth vocals, dreamy narratives of smoking mountain peaks, mysterious shamans, diviners and drowned loves. Don’t follow? Good, it’s better that way…

Ahead of an extensive UK tour plot, including back-to-back billings with American blues legend Seasick Steve, MY BABY reveals details of new album ‘Shamanaid’ – out May 25th via Embrace Recordings.

Hailed in by lead single ‘Uprising’  the album is hailed a “psychedelic journey through space and time”, traipsing folk, roots, native sounds and spirituals; a pagan gospel, if you will…

It’s been close to five years since Ottawa based electronic/indie-folk band The Acorn released a full-album of new material, but that all changes in June with the release of their new album ‘Vieux Loup’ (out 1/6).

The new video for the lead track ‘Influence’ went out with The Line Of Best Fit. ‘Influence’ is the first single from the forthcoming album and is the perfect intro to their new material, it’s hesitant, minimal, forlorn and above all else it’s incredibly beguiling in it’s electronic-meets-folk composition.

The newest star to glisten is not only part of the British home grown talent, but is a man, offering a yet-to-be heard spin on relate-able truth, love and experience. Damien Ike is the real deal when it comes to British Musicians.

The Goldsmith’s University graduate from Shoreditch East London continues to push the boundaries of song writing his music is instantly recognisable and incomparable. Damien Ike delivers a sound that is unique and is yet to be matched by other musicians.
